Hot Lunch Program

The cost of a full lunch with milk is $4.25 and an extra entrée is $1.50. A Salad Bar meal that includes roll/bread and milk is $4.25. We also offer a variety of a La Carte items at different prices.

Lunches and a La Carte spending funds are ordered through an Online Ordering System (OLOS) that is accessed from the link below.

The first time you click the ORDER SCHOOL LUNCH link you will need to select the CREATE NEW ACCOUNT option on the left side of the screen and enter our school code: 457SPCSMI and then follow the steps to provide the information needed to create your account. One account is needed per family and will accommodate any and all children in the family. Once your account is created you are ready to place an order following these steps:

Click on the lunch box and select PLACE ORDER. You will submit a separate order for each student’s lunch.

When each order has been submitted, select the REVIEW ORDER button at the bottom of the page.

On the REVIEW ORDER page, click the SUBMIT ORDER button to confirm the order.

As orders are submitted, the total amount due for your family is listed under the CURRENT BALANCE. After all lunch orders have been submitted, select the PAY NOW button to submit your online payment. Please be sure to submit all orders for your children before paying. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete and submit your payment. At this time you may also allocate money into an A La Carte fund to be used by your children for items at checkout (e.g., ice cream on Fridays).

You must process each order through until you see the ORDER CONFIRMATION page. The system does not recognize or record an order that has not been fully submitted and confirmed.

A confirmation email will also be sent as orders are finalized. To see what you have ordered you may log into your account at any time and select VIEW ORDERS. You will see exactly what the system has recorded for each student. You can view and print your orders at any time.

If you have any question regarding your payments, select VIEW PAYMENTS to see what payments have been recorded to your account.

The next time you access your online lunch account you will enter your email address and the password created when you setup your account. If you encounter a login problem use the GET HELP button to request assistance.

If you forget your password, select the FORGOT MY PASSWORD option to have your password immediately sent to you. An automated attendant will send your password to the email address listed in your account

Orders will be paid online using an electronic check. You will need to provide your account number and routing number at the time of the first payment. Your payment information will be saved for future orders.

An a La Carte “fund” can be created when you go to the PAY NOW screen and select the option to PAY OTHER AMOUNT and include additional money beyond your lunch menu order. These additional dollars will be used to pay for your child(ren)’s a La Carte purchases. Each a La Carte purchase will be recorded by the Lunchroom Staff and the money debited from your account as the charges occur. If your child(ren)’s a La Carte purchases exceed the money in your a La Carte “fund”, the next time you go to the OLOS you will need to pay the outstanding balance in addition to the amount of your new order.

If you wish to have an a La Carte “fund” and not purchase any hot lunches you go to the PAY NOW screen and PAY OTHER AMOUNT and enter the amount you wish to add to your “fund”.

Each online order placed (this includes all meals purchased and a La Carte dollars added at the time of the order) will be charged a $1.50 Processing Convenience Fee. If you wish to reduce the times you are charged the $1.50 fee, you may choose to allocate a larger amount to the a La Carte “fund” that can be used to cover the cost of future lunch orders as well as a La Carte purchases. For example, if you place a $17.00 lunch order for September you can opt to PAY OTHER AMOUNT of $100 and this money can be used to pay for a La Carte purchases as well as future month’s lunch orders.

As of now, we will continue to take cash for a La Carte purchases. Our goal is to be a completely cashless system by the end of December 2017. As a result, all families that wish to make a La Carte purchases, even if they plan to never buy hot lunch, should create an account.

We will begin to take online orders on Friday, September 1. The September lunch calendar menu is on the website and a copy of the menu is attached to this letter. We will accept orders through Friday, September 8 for the first two weeks of hot lunch (the weeks of September 11 and 18) as well as for the entire month of September. Thereafter, the deadline to order hot lunch will be rolling as follows:

Order by Friday, September 15 for the week of September 25 and beyond

Order by Friday, September 22 for the week of October 2 and beyond

Order by Friday, September 29 for the week of October 9 and beyond

Order by Friday, October 6 for the week of October 16 and beyond

and so on

You can access your lunch order anytime online.

If a child has not ordered lunch and does not bring a lunch to school we will provide an alternate lunch (e.g., cheese sandwich with milk). Credits will be applied to online accounts for days absent when lunch was ordered and paid for.

Grades K, 1 & 2

11:40 a.m. – 12:00 noon – Lunch

12:00 noon – 12:20 p.m. – Recess

Grades 3, 4, & 5

12:05 p.m. – 12:25 p.m. – Lunch

12:25 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. – Recess

Grades 6, 7 & 8

12:30 p.m. – 12:50 p.m. – Lunch

12:50 p.m. – 1:10 p.m. – Recess

AOD School Meal Program

We participate in the AOD School Meal Program. This program provides Free and Reduced Price School meals for qualifying families. To apply for the program, apply online (preferred method) or in writing.
