By integrating Gospel values into everything we do, St. Paul School helps prepare your child to meet the challenges of living a Christian life, now and in the future. Students attend Mass twice per week and have Religion class every day.

At the Ash Wednesday All School Mass, the whole school came together to mark the beginning of Lent. Father Jim spoke about the sacrifices of Lent, and how they will make the victory of Easter so much sweeter. He asked everyone to do a secret act of kindness every day in Lent.

To honor the dignity of the deceased, 7th Graders walked to the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery on Moross Rd, then scrubbed and cleared more than 40 gravestones. They learned the history of some of the people buried in the cemetery from Marcia McBrien, the St. Paul Historian and Ms. Izzy Donnelly, of the Grosse Pointe Historical Society.

St. Paul's Luke VanBerkum Ordained to the Priesthood

Father Luke VanBerkum '08 was ordained on May 21, 2022 at the Bascilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C.  Father Luke was joined by his brother, Father Anthony VanBerkum '06, and their whole family.




Father Luke, Father Anthony and all their sisters are St. Paul School alumni. Their mom, Michaele, works as a teacher's aide in St. Paul preschool.

The VanBerkum Family: Mark, Michaele, Father Luke '08, Maria '10, Josepine '16, Lucia '14, Father Anthony '06, Monica '12, and Rosemary '19.
