Lunchroom Information

Welcome St. Paul families to the 2024/25 school year. For returning families, the lunch program will be very similar to last year with only a couple of minor changes.

For new families, we have two programs that we utilize in the lunchroom. FACTS & Meal Magic. FACTS is used to order lunches and Meal Magic is for payment. FACTS is the same program you use to view your child's grades.

One of the changes we have implemented for this school year is related to pre-ordering lunches. In the past you would have to place your pre-order a week in advance. This year we will have no pre-ordering deadlines. Parents will be able to place their students' lunch order in FACTS up until 9am each morning, Monday - Friday. Students will also still have the option to place their lunch order in the classroom each morning. What this means is, you can still place your order a month in advance or place your order the same day.

If you place your students' order after 9am for the current day we will not receive the order and your student will receive the main entree lunch we are serving for that day.

The daily ordering cutoff time is 9am.

Your next step will be to set up your FACTS account so you can order lunches.

Please, first follow these steps below and then come back to this page and continue the ordering process in FACTS and setting up your Meal Magic Account.

 FACTS SIS (Student information System).   The FACTS Family Portal – a private and secure platform that will allow you to see the academic information specific to your children, and pre- order lunches while protecting information from others.

Here’s how to access our easy-to-use Family Portal:

1. Go to : https://factsmgt.com and click Parent Login.
2. Then select FACTS Family Online
3. Type in the School’s District Code: SPL-MI
4. Click Create New Family portal Account
5. Type in your email address (this email is the same one that we have on file from your registration).
6. Click Create Account. An email will be sent to you which includes a link to create your login. This link is active for 6 hours.
7. Select the Click to Create your Family Portal Login link.
8. A web browser displays your Name and FACTS Person ID. • Type a User Name, Password, and Confirm your password.

We have two options for ordering lunch:

When ordering an extra main entree item you must also order the main entree. Once you have entered your choices, you will scroll to the bottom left and select Order Items. If you have multiple children, you will do this for each child on this same page. Multiple children will be listed one after another on this page. Scroll down to see multiple children.

        7. Once you have placed your order, you will receive a message on the next screen that indicates- Lunch Order Created.

        8. To review your completed order, you will select Lunch on the left side of the screen. Your lunch choices will then appear on the calendar in blue font. If you are placing your order on your phone, your screen view might be slightly different than your computer view.

Please note: You will not be charged for any lunches in the FACTS system. FACTS is only an ordering system. All lunch charges will be applied to your Meal Magic account on the day your child receives their lunch. All charges will come through the Meal Magic System. Your child will not be charged if they are absent.

Meal Magic is an online account where you check balances, view account history & deposit funds in your child's account to purchase pre-ordered lunches, a la carte items, or snacks.

If you are logging in to create an account, you will need your child's lunchroom ID. You can find their lunchroom ID number in the FACTS family portal system. Login to FACTS family portal.

Click on Family, then Family Home and then click on your child's name. You will see a five digit ID number. You will use the five digit ID and include PAUL in all caps with no space. (Ex: 12345PAUL) If you cannot locate the ID, please contact Antoinette Swikoski at [email protected]. or 248 943 0247

The preferred method of payment is by debit or credit card. If you choose to write a check, it must be Payable to the Archdiocese of Detroit and send the check to the school office. Please allow at least a week for the check to be deposited and posted to your account.

Snack Cart

Snack items are available for purchase in the lunchroom. Snack items can not be ordered in FACTS. Your child can walk up to the counter during their lunch period to purchase snacks or drinks. Prices range from $0.50 - $ 1.50. Chocolate milk, white milk, strawberry milk($.50) and water bottles($1.00) are also available everyday for purchase.

Snack items include chips, pretzels, popcorn, muffins, rice krispie treats and fruit snacks. Items vary based on availability.

Lunch- Financial Assistance

Financial assistance for lunch is available for eligible students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Please go to the Meal Magic site and click Apply For Benefits.

Special Dietary Needs

If your child has any special dietary needs, please complete the Special Diet Statement form with a letter from a doctor and return it to the school office. If you will be ordering the Gluten Free Options you will also need to complete the Special Diet Statement, submit a letter from a doctor and return it to the school office.
