I earned my Bachelor's of Arts degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Language Arts from the University of Michigan - Dearborn in 2007. Then in 2016, I completed my Master’s degree in education with a focus on English as a Second Language. This year starts my 16th year of teaching and my 5th year with the AOD, which I love. I have taught a wide variety of grades including, 3rd, 6-8th as well as a wide range of reading intervention.

I have two children who are grown, my son is 24 and lives in Chicago, IL and my daughter is 19 and currently attending GVSU for nursing. I have been married for 31 years and I have a border collie named Wrigley. I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, traveling and meeting new people. I am looking forward to a great first year at St. Paul. I am happy to be here.
